Our programs are for young athletes, but registration and payment are completed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children online. Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern registration for and participation in programs offered by Court Star Basketball Academy, LLC. (“we,” “us,” “our”), located at 10100 Jamison Ave, Northeast Philadelphia, PA 19116. By registering a player for our programs, you agree to these Terms.

1. Programs & Eligibility

We offer basketball skills training for players ages 6–16, grouped by age as described on our schedule. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration on behalf of any player under 18.

2. Registration & Payment

  • Membership is billed monthly at $250 per player.
  • First-time participants may be eligible for a free one-week trial before starting a paid membership.
  • Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider.

3. Attendance & Conduct

We ask players and families to arrive on time, follow the direction of coaching staff, and treat other players, coaches, and families with respect. We may remove a player from a session or program for unsafe or disruptive conduct.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Basketball and related physical activity carry an inherent risk of injury. By registering a player, the parent or guardian acknowledges this risk and agrees that we, its owners, coaches, and staff are not liable for injuries that occur during participation, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

[Note for your review: many states, including Pennsylvania, limit or do not enforce a parent’s waiver of a minor child’s own right to sue for negligence. Have an attorney confirm this section holds up under PA law, and consider a separate signed waiver/assumption-of-risk form in addition to this general clause.]

5. Photo & Video Release

We may photograph or video sessions for promotional use on our website and social media. If you do not want your child included, notify us in writing at [courtstarbasketballacademy@gmail.com].

6. Changes to Programs

We may adjust schedules, pricing, or program offerings with reasonable notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
